Cold Front Music, LLC was founded in 2011 as a way to combine Tony Craddock, Jr.’s passions for music, weather, and faith. Cold Front Music is an independent record label, music enterprise and brand that connects weather and life through music by sharing he symbolic relationships that weather has with people’s everyday lives.
Tony has recorded and co-produced two albums on the Cold Front Music label, both of which are on Pandora Radio. Convection (2013) features award-winning contemporary jazz guitarist Ken Navarro, while Christmas in the Air (2011) was featured on The Weather Channel’s “Local on the 8s” holiday playlist. Cold Front Music is also home to the smooth/inspirational jazz group “Tony Craddock, Jr. & Cold Front.” Tony has been blessed to perform at venues in the Washington D.C. metro area like Blues Alley, the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, U.S. Botanic Garden, National Mall, the and National Harbor. He has also performed with award-winning artists, including Ken Navarro, Kim Jordan, Ben Tankard, and Luther Barnes. He can be found in concert throughout the D.C. Metro Area with Tony Craddock, Jr. & Cold Front.
Cold Front Music uses its voice to positively impact people through WeatherWednesday®, which is a weekly inspirational message that connects weather to real life and communicates uplifting principles in a relatable way. Cold Front Music was honored with the 2014 Forty Under 40 Award by Potomac Local News, which recognizes thriving organizations in Northern Virginia led by people under the age of 40. Tony was also the recipient of the 2013 Minerva Award by the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. for his commitment to educate youth in the arts through Cold Front Music.
