SOPRANO SAXOPHONIST TONY CRADDOCK, JR. RELEASES SINGLE “LIVING WATER” FEATURING CHART-TOPPING GUITARIST KEN NAVARRO
NEW SINGLE UPLIFTS, MAKES YOU FEEL ALIVE
ALEXANDRIA, VA, Feb. 27, 2018 – Emerging jazz saxophonist Ton
y Craddock, Jr. (under the artist/band name “Tony Craddock, Jr. & Cold Front”) will release to smooth jazz radio on March 5, 2018 the flowing and lively Latin-tinged single “Living Water” (featuring Ken Navarro).
“Living Water” is the lead single to Craddock’s upcoming album H2O, which releases on major digital platforms on Friday, March 16, 2018. Craddock wrote “Living Water” to recreate the refreshing sense of life he felt after walking through Great Falls National Park in Northern Virginia, surrounded by waterfalls.
“Nature is the purest source of life and inspiration,” said Craddock. “I hope ‘Living Water’ channels that same energy to uplift people and make them feel alive!” “Living Water” is also symbolic of Craddock’s Christian faith.
“Living Water” flows from the first downbeat with the feature of Ken Navarro’s unmistakable, lyrical nylon-string guitar. Craddock’s soprano sax flows effortlessly through the song’s melodic and improvisational moments, blending the two together beautifully. The bridge boasts the pleasant surprise of a timbale solo, energizing the melodic improvisation to come from Craddock.
H2O is produced by chart-topping jazz guitarist Ken Navarro and also features Grammy® Award-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum on a soul-stirring arrangement of “Amazing Grace.” “Living Water” and H2O stay true to Craddock’s brand of fusing music and weather/nature to uplift people.
Craddock’s past releases Convection (2013) and Christmas in the Air (2011) are featured on Pandora Radio. Christmas in the Air aired on 45 radio stations in the U.S., U.K and Spain, and also aired on The Weather Channel’s “Local on the 8’s.” Craddock’s passions for music and weather began courtesy of the smooth jazz on The Weather Channel’s “Local on the 8s.” He earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University and later founded the indie label Cold Front Music, LLC.
